What an amazing experience. We had simple requirements for mom and dad’s arrangements We were taken aback by the Exorbitant fees that the funeral home charge in general.We were referred to AC,. We were extremely impressed with the reasonable fees and amazing urns that my family loves. I’ll be proud to take the TSA approved urns to my parents final resting place for a proper Catholic Burial Service.

If you are looking for an all-inclusive direct cremation service, I highly recommend Austin Cremations. Nathaniel was incredibly compassionate, respectful of mine and my deceased mother’s wishes, and highly communicative throughout the entire process. Traditional funeral homes will almost always try to upcharge you, guilt you into going with more expensive options, and are not usually forthcoming about their fees and what services are included. Austin Cremations was upfront with everything from the beginning and provided an easy-to-read contract that throughly broke down every charge and what service it covered. (And their rates are FAR more reasonable than a traditional funeral home — as I learned from watching Ask A Mortician, the average cost of a direct cremation shouldn’t run more than $1200. Austin Cremations was right on the money, whereas another home I checked out before finding this place wanted to charge me over $3K.) They also offer some very nice memorial keepsake options at a reasonable price point if you’re into that sort of thing, but with no “sales-y” pressure to buy. I got a lovely pendant with my mom’s fingerprint engraved into the metal and accompanied by her birthstone. All in all, it was a great experience (well, as great as settling things for a departed loved one *can* be) from start to finish. Definitely recommend.

I was greatly satisfied with the services from Brian Ramirez. He met all of our needs. We felt no pressure from him. I would definately recommend this funeral service to any body who has lost a loved one.

My sisters and I were not prepared for the loss of our father. We knew his desire was to be cremated, but were unsure about which route to go. I've heard storied of sticker-shock and people being pressured into decisions that really add up. I appreciated Austin Cremations "all inclusive, no-hassle" approach and am very thankful for the services provided by Jared & his team. He was prompt, knowledgable, and compassionate during this heartbreaking time. He accommodated our wishes and kept me posted throughout the process. I hope to not be in this position again any time soon, but when the need does arise I will return to Austin Cremations for my family's needs.

Nothing but positive things to say about these guys! They are top notch and Jim P. helped us through the "difficult decision" that was dumped in our laps when my father passed. They are worth the piece of mind and every penny we paid! From the pickup of my father at the hospital to the drop off of ashes, nothing but the best interaction and experience from this business. Do not pay what funeral homes are charging when you can have Austin Cremations take care of your needs from top to bottom. We were able to provide our own urn for my father's final resting place (picture attached).

I was tasked with handling arrangements for my brothers death with limited resources and funds. It was a pleasant surprise how simple the process was, with no pressure to upsell. I received the remains in a timely manner, early enough that our family was able to spread my brothers ashes at a special place, on what would have been his birthday. Highly recommend
