Celebrating the Life of Retired MSGT Terrence Allan Rogers On August 11, 2025, Retired MSGT Terrence Allan Rogers, surrounded by loved ones in Round Rock Texas, left this world for his eternal rest. The date was not just another day, it was the anniversary with his beloved wife, Jill Rogers, a sign that their story, written with devotion and loyalty, remains forever intertwined. Born on Christmas Eve Day, December 24, 1951, in New York City, Terrence was a gift to all who would come to know him. Terrence served with honor and dedication in the United States Marine Corps from January 21, 1969, until May 5, 1992. He was known for his discipline, leadership, and unwavering loyalty to those under his command. Upon retiring from military service, he devoted himself entirely to his family. Terrence met Jill in Hawaii, and from that moment on, their paths were one. They married in 1984, and for forty-one years, they shared not only a home but a life built on trust, respect, and unwavering love. He was a man of both strength and warmth, firm when it came to doing the right thing, yet gentle in his care for others. He loved to cook, and his meatloaf, ribs and gyoza became family treasures. He found joy in simple pleasures like spending time with friends and eating lobster, but his greatest joy was always his family (and lobster). Terrence is preceded in death by his beloved son, Rickey Rogers (August 22, 1969 - November 23, 1986). He is survived by his wife, Jill Rogers; daughter Teresa Rogers Ward and her wife Kristi Ward, son Harold Rogers and his wife Amelia Rogers, and son Warren Rogers and his husband Christopher Arriaga; Grandchildren Alyssa Paul (husband Zachary Paul), Dayton Ward (wife Haley Ward), Tobias Rogers and Reilly Rogers; Terrence also leaves behind great-grandchildren Oliver Paul, Osiris Paul, and Ryder Ward, who will grow up hearing the stories of his life and the love he poured into his family. Terrence leaves behind not just memories, but a living legacy in his children. Values of love, respect, patience and peace that will continue to shape generations.
